S. Korea plans to sell $4.97 bln treasury in April

SEOUL  -- South Korean government said on Thursday that it plans to sell up to 4.95 trillion won ( 4.97 billion US dollars) worth of bonds in April.

The Ministry of Strategy and Finance said the government sold 4. 31 trillion won (4.327 billion US dollars) worth of Treasuries in March.

Seoul said earlier in the year that up to 69.9 trillion won (70. 18 billion US dollars) worth of state bonds could be sold this year.
