Glacier of Yangtze River source shrinks 1,200 meters in 40 years

This photo shows the glacier in Guerra Danon, the source of the Yangtze River, on September 30, 2016. Scientists believe that due to a lack of water and global warming, the glaciers have been shrinking in recent years. In the last 40 years, they've lost over 1,200 meters in surface area.
