Here, locals hang out on the river-front in the evening.

At the park, you can also watch a movie on a public flat screen TV or take a stroll.

Overlooking the Yalu River about 15 kilometers northeast of downtown Dandong, is the Hushan Great Wall, the eastern starting point of the Great Wall, rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty.

A brief hike along the wall provides beautiful views of surrounding cornfields, and the return path takes you to a small stream that separates China and DPRK.

DPRK's guardhouses are 300-400 meters away from the stream. Do remember not to cross the stream.

Besides the Great Wall, the other attraction in the area is the ancient well of Goguryeo.
