Oriental Land

Sweet Osmanthus Road in the park boasts more than 8,000 osmanthus trees lining it. Visitors can stroll along the road and inhale the fragrance in breeze from Dianshan Lake near the park, or rent bikes or quad-cycles to explore the maze of bridges and wooded areas. The park covers a vast area of 373 hectares and has been a popular destination for youth camps, physical and teamwork training, and corporate family days.

Manjuelong

If you wish to take a day trip out of town to enjoy the sweet osmanthus, Hangzhou is the best choice. Osmanthus is the city flower of Hangzhou and the West Lake bank is full of the floral scent in fall. Manjuelong, a valley south of West Lake, has more than 7,000 osmanthus trees along the road and at the right season the tiny golden flower flies on the wind, creating a spectacular view of “Sweet Osmanthus Rain at Manjuelong”, one of the New 10 Views of West Lake. Along the road there are many tea houses and restaurants where you can enjoy local osmanthus cuisine.
