Sichuan becoming traffic hub of W China

Part of the Jiuzhaigou-Huanglong road, which was rebuilt after the 2008 earthquake. Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong are two tourist destinations in the inland Sichuan province, Southwest China. This photo was taken in March 2012. Sichuan province decided to turn into the traffic hub of West China in 2007. Since then, 42 highway projects, with a total mileage of 3,887 kilometers and a total investment of 310.7 billion yuan have been under construction. [Photo / Xinhua]
