The circus comes to town in Shijiazhuang

The 13th China Wuqiao International Circus Festival is now on in Shijiazhuang, capital city of Hebei province.

Twenty-seven troupes from 17 countries and regions are participating in the festival with 30 programs, competing for the Golden Lion Award. There are five programs from China.

Founded in 1987, China Wuqiao International Circus Festival is one of the most established circus events in China. It is held every two years in the last week of October, or the first week of November.

The 2011 festival ends on Oct 30.
