Recently charming cole flowers in south China's Guangdong province have drawn floods of visitors, including Hong Kong and Macao residents who come to enjoy the beautiful scenery of early spring.

According to Lai Nanpo, a local official from Ruyuan county in Guangdong, every Spring Festival hundreds of thousands of people from at home and abroad go to Shaoguan city to pray for good luck. Instead of returning after praying at the temples, they like to spend some time traveling.

"We came to Shaoguan yesterday, to pray at the Nanhua Temple. On the way, we saw large parcels of golden cole flower fields, and we can't leave without making a stop to see." a couple surnamed, Liu from Hong Kong said.
