China Fortune Land Development(CFDL), a leader in industrial city operations in China, has won the bid for the Weiyuan Island land development comprehensive service project in Dongguan city, Guangdong province, said the Management Committee of Dongguan Binhaiwan New Area on June 29.

The service project is another attempt by CFDL following earlier moves to participate in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

On June 24, twelve advanced manufacturing enterprises signed contracts and eight industrial projects and supporting projects broke ground at the Doumen Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, with a total investment of nearly 14 billion yuan. The park has been developed and managed by CFDL.

Doumen has been an innovation highland in Zhuhai city of Guangdong province, one of the three pillars of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and has become an important draw for smart manufacturing and electronic information companies.

CFDL purchased the core site of Baietang, Liwan district, Guangzhou for 6.8 billion yuan on June 18. These projects cover first-class development and commercial real estate, industrial park construction, and industrial cluster building.

As early as 2016, CFDL signed a cooperation agreement with Jiangmen city to develop and operate a new high-tech industrial city. In addition, it has developed and operated Zhongshan Minzhong Industry New City in Zhongshan city and Doumen Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Zhuhai.

According to statistics from CRIC China, most of the leading housing companies have done business in the Greater Bay Area. The land area of the top 30 enterprises in China has reached 290 million square meters, and is worth 6.1 trillion yuan.
