GBI 100 Competition Shanghai division starts
The Shanghai division of the first Global Best Innovation 100 Competition (GBI 100 Competition) officially started at Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai on Dec 6.
The GBI 100 Competition is a global science and technology innovation transformation and growth platform for high-quality projects built by the China Top 100 Forum relying on the strength of the top 100 enterprises and top 100 cities in China.
The competition takes the project to industrialize China as its ultimate goal. Technological advancement and economic feasibility are its core evaluation criteria, while China's top 100 enterprises, top 100 funds and well-known investment institutions at home and abroad are the main investors.
The competition focuses on life sciences, artificial intelligence (AI), electronic information, new energy and new materials. The Shanghai division has set up two special sessions on AI (intelligent manufacturing) and medical and health.
Each session selected 11 outstanding projects from the hundreds of participating projects to join the road show, and strived to make this competition one with a precise industrial positioning, high added value and strong radiation power.
Lu Junping, secretary-general of the GBI 100 Competition's organizing committee, announced the start of the roadshow of selected AI projects on Dec 6.
Eleven projects related to AI and intelligent manufacturing were displayed for eight minutes each, and for four minutes for investment judges to interact.
