CFLD post-doctorate fellows attend WLA annual forum

Twelve post-doctorate fellows from China Fortune Land Development Co., Ltd. (CFLD), attended a parallel session of the 2nd Annual Forum of the World Laureates Association (WLA) at Lingang Si-tech City in Shanghai on October 29.

The forum with the theme of "Science and Technology for the Common Destiny of Mankind" drew the participation of Nobel laureates and other notable scientists from home and abroad. They held in-depth discussions on the ties between scientific development and the destiny of human beings, the peak of science and the future.

Attendees from the CFLD have focused their academic studies on advanced technologies such as 5G, the Internet of Things, aerospace, and high-end equipment.

Along with dozens of outstanding young scientists, the CFLD participants exchanged ideas with Nobel laureates and winners of other top awards in a roundtable gathering during the parallel session.

"It was lucky for me to attend the face-to-face meeting with Nobel laureates and other leading scientists at the event. Apart from sharing my achievements and experience in the sector of bio-medicine, I was greatly inspired by the interaction with them," said Ouyang Pengfei of the CFLD Research Institute.

Yang Jinfeng, another post-doctorate fellow from the same institute, gave high credit to the innovative organization of the roundtable discussion and stressed the applicability of his academic studies in economics to future projects of new industrial cities, which will feature coordination of industrial growth and urban construction.

The annual forum of the WLA, launched last year, has become a platform for scientific cooperation in better coping with important issues such as health and environmental problems.
