CAS annual touring exhibition opens in XHTZ

As the 3rd Global Programmers' Festival approaches, the annual touring exhibition spotlighting science and technology innovation of the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) opened in Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone (XHTZ) on Sept 27. It will last until Oct 31.

The touring exhibition highlights the important achievements of CAS in the fields of quantum communication, scientific satellites, and clean energy.

It aims to show the public the latest cutting-edge scientific research results and major scientific research progress made by CAS.

In addition to serving as the theme exhibition of the 3rd Global Programmers' Festival, the touring exhibition is also positioned as a CAS project that celebrates the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

Since the initiative by CAS began in 2012 with the support of local governments, the touring exhibition has been held in 26 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, attracting more than 600 million visitors.
