XHTZ, a fertile ground for software industry

As an industrial park focusing on innovation-driven development, Xi'an High-tech Industries Industries Development Zone (XHTZ) is committed to developing the industry software and information services in Xi'an and in China.

By the end of 2018, the total revenue of the software and information services industry in XHTZ reached 295 billion yuan ($41.69 billion), with a total of 2,400 enterprises and 200,000 employees.

A number of well-known companies have settled in XHTZ, such as Huawei, Samsung, Alibaba, Lenovo, Schneider, ChinaSoft International, and ThoughtWorks.

It has established eight key development areas in big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, integrated circuits design, mobile internet, network security, the Internet of Things, and silicon optical chips.

At present, XHTZ also boasts impressive industrial clusters in advanced manufacturing, the electronic information industry, and the modern service industry.

The 3rd Global Programmers' Festival, which will be held in XHTZ from Oct 24 to 25, is the first global festival focusing on programmers. It will provide a platform for exchanges and cooperation between programmers in Xi'an, Shaanxi and the world.
