Global technology fair opens in Shanghai

Cooking robots capable of serving more than 800 dishes that cover all the eight Chinese cuisines attracted many visitors to take a bite during the exhibition.

By putting various ingredients and condiments into a specially made tray, the machine can cook a dish following the steps of the recipe stored, and people can enjoy the food without experiencing the oil and smoke typically generated when preparing Chinese dishes, said Zhang Xiaolei, marketing director of Shanghai AI Cooking Robot Group.
