Shanghai promotes publicity on IPR

To celebrate World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, all districts in Shanghai organized various forms of intellectual property publicity events, including seminars, policy briefings, symposiums, training, forums and roadshows.

Pudong New Area released the White Paper on the Intellectual Property Development in Pudong in the Year 2018 and held seminars on frontier and hot issues of intellectual property in the IC (integrated circuit) industry.

Huangpu district held a seminar on trademark practices for white-collared workers and carried out patent practice trainings in the Jiangnan Zhizao creative industrial park.

Changning district carried on trainings themed on basic knowledge and key points of enterprises’ intellectual property work, as well as quizzes on intellectual property.

Minhang district established an intellectual property rights protection expert advisory group as its contribution to this year’s intellectual property publicity events. The 2019 internet audio-visual copyright forum kicked off in the district, which also held an enterprise intellectual property strategy seminar and training for enterprise intellectual property management system auditors.
