Xi'an delegation prepares for Silk Road Intl Expo
The Xi'an sub-group of the Shaanxi provincial delegation has actively collected projects for the 4th Silk Road International Exposition and the Investment and Trade Forum for Cooperation between East and West China, which will be held in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi province from May 11 to 15.
The Xi'an exhibition pavilion at this year's expo will cover an area of 2,523 square meters, which is the core part of the entire exhibition area.
The Xi'an delegation has spared no effort in preparatory work. While collecting projects to be promoted, it has made full use of the city's industrial base advantages to highlight key areas and industries.
To date, the delegation has selected 357 key projects for promotion, with a total investment of 8,015.5 billion yuan ($1185.8). Among them, there are 100 service industry projects, 94 public-private partnership (PPP) projects, 46 equipment manufacturing projects, and 34 cultural tourism projects.
By April 26, it has collected 208 projects to be signed, including 133 contract projects and 75 agreement projects, with a total investment of 332.41 billion yuan. The projects involve many fields such as equipment manufacturing, the service industry, energy conservation and environmental protection, cultural tourism, and strategic emerging industries.
The project collection work is still ongoing.
