Volunteers for Silk Road Intl Expo receive training
The invitation and reception department of the 4th Silk Road International Expo organized a pre-job training for 35 volunteers on April 29, making it clear to them about the work that they will be responsible for.
The volunteers consist of postgraduates and undergraduates from Shaanxi Normal University, Northwest Agricultural and Forestry University, Xi'an International Studies University, Xi'an University of Technology, and Northwest University of Political Science and Law.
Unlike previous years, this year's foreign volunteers were recruited for the first time. Three students from Russia and Cambodia, which are guests of honor for this year's expo, will also participate in the volunteer work.
The training introduced basic information about the expo and helped the volunteers understand the significance of holding the event in Shaanxi province.
It also highlighted the theme of the expo, the guests of honor, the provinces and cities of honor, as well as the theme city, providing volunteers a stronger overall understanding of the expo.
After that, it introduced the organizational structure and work responsibilities of the invitation and reception department, particularly the work responsibilities and tasks of the foreign affairs group and the guests of honor group.
It emphasized the 11 requirements for volunteers and underscored the importance that volunteers display full passion and discipline in strictly observing the requirements to create a relaxed and pleasant working atmosphere, ensuring that the expo progresses smoothly.
