Akhil Parashar: Tongxiang, a town of silk culture

By Akhil Parashar | chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2019-04-15 16:45
All in all, the experience was interesting and fun. I got the opportunity to witness all sorts of ancient culture and traditions associated with the Qingming Festival which could not see in big cities. It gave me an appreciation of how much traditional Chinese customs are still followed in the Chinese countryside. The trip of Tongxiang has given me a more personal experience of Chinese traditional culture. I believe Tongxiang is a most-visited tourist attraction. I would highly recommend a trip to both the foreigners and Chinese from other parts, to gain knowledge and could learn something valuable.
