Former CR Land executive director takes up CFLD CEO post

According to an announcement from China Fortune Land Development Co Ltd (CFLD), CR Land former executive director Wu Xiangdong has joined the company as its CEO and president.

Before the appointment, Wu also served as chairman of the Nomination Committee, member of the Corporate Governance Committee and Executive Committee at CR Land.

Wu took his first job in China Resources Group once he graduated from Tsinghua University in 1993 and then worked in the company's real estate arm -- CR Land in 2005.

He developed a commercial real estate system, which takes the MIXC shopping mall as its flagship brand and led CR Land to form an industrial layout driven by residential and commercial real estate business, laying a foundation for the enterprise's long-term development.

As a director recommended by CFLD Holding, Wu will take charge of the overall operation of CFLD as its CEO and president, the announcement said.

CFLD has expanded its model for industry city development -- Gu'an New Industrial City in north China's Hebei province -- to 13 provinces.
