Harbin launches tourist buses to winter scenic spots
To provide increased convenience to tourists heading from Harbin to Heilongjiang’s popular ice and snow scenic spots, Heilongjiang Longyun Group will open direct tourist buses to Yabuli Ski Resort, Xuexiang county and Xuegu scenic area.
According to this year’s bus schedule, tourist buses to Yabuli Ski Resort and Xuexiang will start operating on Nov 24. The buses will run at 6 am, 8 am, 9 am, 10 am, 12:00 and 1 pm, with two more shifts than last year.
One more bus stop has been added, increasing the total number of boarding locations from two to three. They are No 4 Jiuzhan Street, the intersection of Central Avenue and Xierdao Street, and No 175 Hongqi Street in Xiangfang district.
A single journey from Harbin to Xuexiang county takes 5 hours 30 minutes and costs 120 yuan ($17.27); and a single journey from Harbin to Yabuli takes 3 hours and costs 70 yuan.
Heilongjiang Longyun Group will also open a direct bus line to Xuegu on Dec 1. It’s the first time for the company to operate the tourist bus route.
Xuegu is located in Dongshen Forest Farm in Wuchang city. It has abundant snow, with the winter sports season open for 7 months.
There will be two buses running between Harbin and Xuegu every day, departing from Harbin at 6:10 am and 1:10 pm. Tourists can choose boarding locations between Wanda Holiday Inn on Jingwei Street and No 4, Jiazhan Street. A single journey costs 100 yuan and takes 5 hours.
