Addressing key challenges in Energy
DICP is home to China's first National Laboratory dedicated to energy research, the Dalian National Laboratory for Clean Energy (DNL). Research at DNL is focused on the efficient conversion and optimal utilization of fossil fuels, clean energy conversion technologies, and the economically viable use of solar and biomass energy. DNL consists of ten Divisions covering research areas from Fossil Energy Conversion to Hydrogen Energy and Advanced Materials.
Strength in expertise & collaboration
Furthering the research at DICP are two CAS State Key Laboratories: the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis and the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Reaction Dynamics, and five Laboratories: the Laboratory of Instrumentation and Analytical Chemistry, the Laboratory of Fine Chemicals, the Laboratory of Chemical Lasers, The Laboratory of Aerospace Catalysis and New Materials, and the Laboratory of Biotechnology. Research groups in all of the laboratories have strong collaborations with each other and with researchers from all over the world.
