High-tech zone showcases intelligent products at SCE

Self-driving cars and smart robots designed to help you shop were among the cutting edge products displayed in the Bishan National High-tech Zone at the first Smart China Expo (SCE) in Southwest China's Chongqing from Aug 23 to 25.

With the theme of "Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life"，SCE highlighted international brands, national standards and professional events. The expo served as a platform for exchanges and cooperation between industry associations, enterprises, experts and scholars in the global smart technology industry, integrating industry events, exhibitions, and seminars.

With an exhibition area of 234 square meters at the N3 Hall, the high-tech zone showcased the current achievements and future developments in artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning and the internet industry.

China's leading electric car maker BYD showcased its latest car, the Yunba, which was developed by an R&D team of more than 1,000 people over five years at a cost of more than five blillion yuan ($729.68 million).

BYD adhered to independent research and development in excelling at the core technologies of the whole industry chain such as track drive, motor, electric control, body, chassis, bogie and track beam.

It can independently complete the construction of vehicles, tracks, stations and communication systems. In the near future, Yunba will be built and operated in Bishan National High-tech Zone.

Asianfc Fintech Group showcased an intelligent shopping robot that can quickly query and indicate the loctaion of the selected items. Customers can complete payments without waiting in line after shopping. It is also able to record the consumer's shopping behavior data and can work continuously for more than six hours.
