Introduction of Dongfang Fellowship Program

In a world in which internet technology is advancing rapidly and media channels converging more deeply, a stronger investment in research and developing new media technologies and adaptation to the transformation of conventional media will facilitate the leapfrog and innovative development of all nations around the world.

To prompt cooperation and communication among the media , China Daily together with Shanghai International Studies University, the University of International Business and Economics and China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited organizes the "Dongfang Fellowship" Program.

The Program comprises a well-organized schedule of lectures, workshops, and field-based learning activities. Media outlets from members of the Asia News Network (ANN), and senior editors and journalists of mainstream media from countries along the Belt and Road have been invited to take part and come to Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou to share their experiences and exchange ideas.
