Learning out-of-doors at the Garden Expo
There was a sort of class in robotics on Chinese Rose Square at Beijing Garden Expo Park on Aug 3 that attracted more than 100 children, who got a chance to assemble robots under the guidance of teachers from the Fengtai district’s children’s palace. They were also able to try their hand at a robot competition.
The students also learned how to assemble a robot and program it, according to the children’s palace’s Zhang Huizhi.

Beijing Garden Expo in fact has a wide range of activities for teenagers during the summer holidays and hopes to make fuller use of its educational resources. Other outdoor classes of this type include architectonics, garden layouts, aeronautics, and the arts. They are designed to help young visitors explore the mysteries of Garden Expo.
