East China Fair to open in Shanghai

Shanghai will host the East China Fair (ECF) at the New International Expo Center from March 1 to 5.

The ECF will rent 10 pavilions with an exhibition area of 115,000 square meters. There will be 5,880 booths and more than 3,500 enterprises.

There will be four exhibition zones, including garments, textiles, daily goods and decorations.

The fair will support more than 60 famous export commodities cultivated and supported by the Ministry of Commerce.

In addition, more than 20,000 products showcasing new designs and technology will be on display. The ECF has set up an Innovation Award to encourage enterprises to innovate.

The exhibition area for enterprises abroad will focus on modern lifestyle. The fair has already received applications from more than 100 enterprises in different countries and regions, including South Korea, Iran and Hong Kong.

Over 3,000 professional buyers have registered on the ECF’s official website. They mainly hail from 65 countries and regions, including America, Australia and Italy.

The ECF’s app software will also debut this year. It can be downloaded later this month. People can use the app to find enterprise locations and products.
