Members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Dalian Committee from Hong Kong and Macao discussed a report regarding government work delivered by Li Wancai, mayor of Dalian, during the first session of the 12th Dalian Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Dalian, Jan 6.

A delegation of 18 members from the CPPCC Dalian Committee from Hong Kong and Macao visited Dalian Donggang Business District, Jan 6.

"Dalian Donggang Business District is similar to Hong Kong's Victoria Harbor. Tourists will definitely love this place because of the art exhibition center and gourmet restaurants here," said Li Zifen, a member of the CPPCC Dalian Committee.

"Donggang Business District will become the city's new landmark in the future," said Shao Gongquan, a CPPCC Dalian Committee member.

The delegation also expressed their willingness to promote economic and cultural cooperation between Hong Kong, Macao and Dalian after the tour.
