The first session of the 12th Dalian Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) took place in Dalian, a port city of Northeast China's Liaoning province, on Jan 4, 2013. A total of 532 members of the Dalian Committee of the CPPCC, China's top political advisory body, took part in the conference.
