Extension project of Wudang substation goes into operation

The 220 kilovolt extension project of Wudang substation, located in the Wudang Mountains Tourism Economic Zone of Shiyan, Hubei province, was put into operation on Jan 10.

With a total investment of 26.9 million yuan ($4.3 million), the extension of the substation can meet the increasing power demand of the zone, improve power supply reliability and promote the economic development of the zone.
