During the New Year holiday (Jan 1-3), many tourists visited the Wudang Mountains in Shiyan, Hubei province, to enjoy the beautiful winter scenery and tai chi culture of Wudang as well as to pray for prosperity in the upcoming year.

To ensure the safety of tourists, Wudang has strengthened safety management, including the maintenance of safety equipment, set-up of warning boards and recruitment of volunteers.
