At the opening ceremony of the third Xiamen International Wushu competition, an array of foreigners performed tai chi, attracting significant attention.

Although hailing from different countries, such as Holland, Finland, Slovenia, Mauritius and Italy, all of them are students of the Wudang Mountains.

Wudang tai chi is not just simply a set of taijiquan skills (taijiquan is a kind of traditional Chinese shadow boxing), but a system composed of boxing and kung fu techniques at different gradations, such as tai chi, yin and yang, and the infinite.

So far, taijiquan has been brought to 150 countries and regions worldwide.
