Shiyan holds photography exhibition

The 2013 Shiyan photography exhibition displaying over 2,600 photographs submitted by the public, which was jointly organized by Shiyan municipal culture and sports bureau and Shiyan federation of literary and art opened on Dec 30 at Shiqun art museum in Shiyan city, Hubei province.

The exhibition aimed to enrich people’s cultural life and showcase the development of Shiyan, and the judging panel selected a total of 10 photos as the best of the show, as well as 20 “outstanding works” and 60 which were shortlisted.

The event was one of the largest and most prestigious ever held in Shiyan, and symbolized the improvement of the local cultural services.
