Shiyan-Wudang intercity bus service to start operation

The intercity bus service from Shiyan city to Wudang Mountains scenic area in central China’s Hubei province is expected to start operation on Dec 18.

The bus route starts at the Postal Square of Shiyan Railway Station and ends at the entrance of the Wudang Mountains scenic area, covering a distance of 37 km, and the buses then make the return trip.

The route will operate from 6:00 am to 20:30 pm every day, with one bus departing every 5 to 10 minutes at rush hour, and every 10 to 15 minutes during off-peak hours.

In addition, two other bus routes are set to start operating this month, with one involving a 24-km route from Shiyan to Liuliping town in Danjiangkou, which starts from the Postal Square of Shiyan Railway Station and ends at Liuliping Guanshan crossing, and another route covering 19-km from Wudang Mountians to Liuliping town, starting at the entrance of the Wudang scenic area and ending in Liuliping town (Wudang Railway Station).
