Former gymnast may cooperate in development of Tai Chi Lake

Former gymnast Li Dashuang, general-manager of Beijing Li Xiaoshuang Sports Goods Ltd, visited the Tai Chi Lake scenic area of Wudang Mountains in Hubei province on Oct 31, and his company reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with the area concerning projects such as a golf course, wudangshan.gov.cn reported.

Li also visited the Wudang Geological Museum and was accompanied by Li Faping, director of the Wudang Mountains Tourism and Economy Special Region management committee, and other officials.

Li Faping said that, as the construction of the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in the mountain area is underway, Wudang is aiming to push forward its plans to develop the scenic area, while maintaining high standards, with a focus on Tai Chi Lake.

He also said that Wudang Mountains is expected to experience great changes in the next few years, and the special region welcomes the sports goods company to cooperate, which would benefit both sides.

In 2009, the company became an official partner of China Amateur Golf Futures Tour, which is organized by China Golf Association.
