Wudang to finish renovation of schools

The local authorities said on August 13 that the renovation of primary and secondary schools in Wudang Mountain Tourism and Economy Special Region, Shiyan city, Hubei province, is almost complete, after a delegation led by Li Pingfa, secretary of Wudang's working committee and director of Wudang's management committee, inspected the schools.

At the beginning of the year, the management committee of Wudang decided to renovate local schools to improve their appearance and meet the requirements of local residents.

The Hubei Institute of Fine Arts designed the overall plan for the project, taking into consideration the features of each school and the cultural characteristics of Wudang, and the renovation work started in July.

Li said that students would enjoy an improved study environment when the new semester starts in September. During his visit to Taichi Lake primary school, Li also said that the Wudang special region attaches much importance to this project.
