Workers at Wudang Mountains have been braving the hot weather and they have already completed a few of the area’s new projects – including Sanfeng square, Wudang international martial arts academy and Wudang tourist mart.

The Taichi Lake Ecological and Cultural Tourist Area is the key project of Wudang Mountains and officials have accelerated the constructions of a series of other projects.

The projects under construction include the Wudang Taihe tower located in the Taichi Lake New Area, which covers an area of 45,000 square meters, with an investment of 120 million yuan ($ 19.6 million).

The spectacular main building of the project is set to reach a height of 51.8 meters, and the authorities hope that it will be an iconic building of Wudang.

The 2,271-meter long Taichi Avenue in Wudang, with an investment of 69 million yuan ($ 11.27 million), is set to become an important tourist area and commercial route in Shiyan city, Hubei province, and construction of the project is scheduled to be completed in the second half of the year.

The Wudang music fountain and water curtain movie are already in operation, and the authorities are striving to complete the wetland park of Taichi Lake New Area. Other projects under construction include a forest park, a hotel made of wood, a water rescue center, a Taichi Lake wharf and Laozi museum.
