Wudang Mountains

Famous mountains in China are usually associated with famous local teas, and Wudang is no exception. Unlike other kinds of tea, which are usually picked in spring, the Taoist tea of Wudang Mountains must be plucked in the sixth and seventh months of the Chinese lunar calendar, during the height of summer.

Visitors who travel to Wudang Mountains in the summer will thus have the opportunity to taste local fresh picked tea.
