CCTV to air program about Wudang

Four episodes of the CCTV series, Hundreds of Mountains and Rivers (or Baishan Baichuan Xing), which will focus on Wudang are set to air from July 15 to 18. The episodes will be shown on the Asian, American and European versions of CCTV-4.

The first episode will start in Wulong Palace, and then focus on Zhong Daozhu, a master who practices in Yunlong Hole. The next part of the episode will show the presenters heading to Tianyihu Lake.

The second episode focuses on the scenic spots of Nanyan Palace and Zixiao Palace, and also the Taoist diet and music.

The third episode was shot in the Golden Hall of Wudang Mountains, and will feature Taoist ceremonies including meditation.

The last episode was shot in Xiaoyao Valley and will focus on wild animals at Wudang Mountains, including macaques and egrets.
