CCTV program returns to Wudang

The camera crew for The Distant Family, a CCTV program, came to shoot on the Wudang Mountains.

The crew tracked down Taoist priests from the Wudang Mountains and recorded the religious rites of Taoism, the daily life of the priests, Taoist music performances, the production process of Taoist medicine and Wudang kung fu.

Compared with the last visit, the crew chose a different route this time that covered some precipitous scenic spots in Wudang, seeking to feature magnificent scenery that is rarely seen.

The camera crew of The Distant Family will shoot three TV programs this time, lasting 135 minutes in total. The program will broadcast on CCTV-1 and CCTV-4 next year.
