The Wudang Mountains special zone organized a promotion group to publicize Wudang in Shijiazhuang and Zhengzhou, two cities near the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed rail, from March 5 to 7.

Zhang Dahua, the director of the Hubei Tourism Administration, promoted the attractive scenic zones and travel routes of Hubei province including the Wudang Mountains at the introduction conference. Wang Jun, vice-governor of Hubei province, delivered a passionate speech. After the speech, distinctive art performances pushed the conference to a peak. A terrific performance by the Wudang Kung Fu Troupe won the loudest applause.

From March 6 to April 6, any visitor with a high-speed rail ticket from Beijing or cities in Hebei and Henan provinces to Wuhan can enjoy a 30 percent discount for an entrance ticket to the Wudang Mountains. Precisely speaking, each visitor can enjoy a discount of 40 yuan ($6.44) for a ticket with valid ID card and rail ticket during the promotion period.
