The television documentary Harmony (Taihe) of Wudang, recorded by Wudang administration committee and the Central Newsreels and Documentary Film Studio, finished shooting in Wudang Mountain on June 10 with 1,000,000 yuan’s worth ($158,000) of investment.

The documentary's producer is Lan Bing, the director of A Great Master Recaptured, who got the Golden Rooster Award for best documentary in 2006; and the promising young director is Zhao Qian,. Zhou Yunshan, a famous rock singer, acted as a devout person in the documentary searching for the harmony of nature and Taoism in Wudang Mountain.

Wudang Mountain is often called Harmonic (Taihe) Mountain. Harmony (Taihe) of Wudang comprises three episodes. The first part mainly introduces the landscape of the mountain and the Taoist buildings of Wudang.

The second one mainly talks about the harmony between the water, Tai Chi Lake, and the people. Taoists believes that "Water is the source of life". In the future, people will find inner peace in Wudang.

The last one attaches the most importance to the Tao. After introducing Taoist culture, the legend of Zhang Sanfeng (the Tai-Chi master), Wudang boxing and Chinese traditional medicine, the episode describes the spirit of Wudang.

The documentary is now in the post-processing phase. It will be transmitted on CCTV in October 2012 as a gift to the 600th anniversary of Wudang Mountain.
