To commemorate the 600th anniversary of Wudang Mountain, the National Exhibition of Paintings on Wudang is to be held by the China Arts Association, Shiyan municipal publicity department, and the Wudang Mountain administration committee in October. The exhibition is calling for works to be submitted from now to Sept 10.

Six hundred years ago, Yong Le, one of the Ming Dynasty's (1368-1644) most distinguished emperors, launched two national projects, which are the construction of the Forbidden City and a large number of Taoist buildings on Wudang Mountain.

At present, several media have published notices inviting contributions, including the China Arts Association official website, Yachang Art website (http://www.artron.net/), Arts Magazine, Artists Communication, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy News, and Chinese Art Weekly.

The requirements for the paintings: 

1.The works should contain elements about Wudang. 

2.The works must be original. 

3.Copies of the works should be provided.

From these, experts from the China Arts Association will choose 60 excellent works and 200 selected works to exhibit.
