China Mount Wudang Photograph Exhibition to be launched

The Taiji Lake cup China Mount Wudang Photograph Exhibition for 2011 will be held with a grand ceremony in late May during the 9th China Photograph Art Festival at Mount Wudang.

The photograph exhibition is jointly sponsored by the China Photographer Association and Mount Wudang Scenic Area Administration. It has gathered a large number of excellent photographs showing the natural sceneries, cultural landscapes, ancient architectures, Wudang Taiji and the Taiji focus on good health at the Mount Wudang scenic area.

The exhibition comprises works under the themes of four seasons, totaling 20,000 photographs. They have gone through quarterly evaluations and entered the final appraisal. A lot of photos have been published in the China Photograph Journal on either the front pages or featured pages.

Since it was launched a year ago, the activity has attracted tourism photograph fans across the country. They have gathered at Mount Wudang in all seasons, taking pictures on the 72 summits, 36 cliffs, 24 rushing gullies, 11 fog-shaded caves, 10 rare stones, nine majestic temples, mysterious Wudang martial arts, solemn Taoism music and long established culture focused on preserving health.
