"Taichi in universities" started at Shiyan Technical Institute

On the evening of April 15, one of a series of activities for Wudang's 600 year birthday commenced at the Tianyi Theater of Shiyan Technical Institute. Named "Taichi in universities", the event entailed performances from the Wudang Kungfu Troupe. The show won the praise of all the teachers and students.

The performances by the Wudang Kungfu Troupe included the Wudang martial named Breeze and the Moon, the dance named Tea Ceremony and some other performances that displayed the Wudang spirit.

The China Wudang Kungfu Troupe has performed in more than 30 countries and regions, such as the USA, Canada, Australia, Austria, Germany, Japan, South Korean, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The "Taichi in universities" event aimed to enlighten college students on the Wudang culture. It also hoped to boost the Wudang Mountain tourism industry.
