On April 20, a delegation of 18 ambassadors and other officials from 13 countries accompanied by Zhao Bentang, the Deputy Director of Latin America Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited the Wudang Mountain scenic area.

When the ambassadors visited the Taizi Slope and Xiaoyao Valley, the guides from the Wudang Mountain explained the features, stories and Taoism culture to the foreign guests. The guests were very excited to see the beautiful scenery and praised its beauty, often putting giving a thumbs up to the guide.

The Wudang Martial Art show at Xiaoyan Valley was admired by foreign guests. One of the guests expressed that he has heard of Wudang Martial Art before, however, this was his first time seeing the impressive performance in person.

Venezuelan ambassador to China Rocio Maneiro Gonzalez said in an interview that both the natural scenery and cultural landscape were beautiful. She also said that the Wudang Martial Art performance was very exciting and she would recommend Wudang Mountain to people in Venezuela.

In recent years, the Wudang Mountain tourism marketing campaign has been opening up to the international market by channels such as CCTV, the internet, advertisements and exchanges in more than 30 countries.
