Wudang Mountain Airport to go under construction

The municipal government of Shiyan city, Hubei province held a press conference on the preparatory work for the Wudang Mountain Airport on April 8 to announce the construction schedule of airport and highway projects.

CHighway construction has been scheduled for completion before the end of November and then airport construction begins at the end of the year.

The municipal Party committee and local government clarified responsibilities for each department.

Each department should complete seven missions over the approval process supervised by the State Council and Central Military Commission.

The National Development and Reform Commission approves the feasibility report; the Civil Aeronautics Administration approves airport planning reply to preliminary designs, airport road transportation assigns expropriation tasks for airport construction.
