Three goals for 2012

The Hubei provincial tourism conference took place in Wuhan, capital of Hubei, on Feb 16, with Li Faping, director of the Wudang Mountain management committee, there to speak about his experiences in the business.

In describing how to “Design grand projects, develop great industries, and establish a top-ranking tourism destination”, Li summarized for the gathering his management experience at the Wudang Mountain and spoke of the positive attitude provincial and municipal leaders had about Wudang’s position in driving the local tourist economy.

Li said that, in 2012, the Wudang Mountain Scenic Zone will work toward three goals: “having 4 million tourists, 2.1billion yuan ($333.2 million) in tourist income, and 450 million yuan ($71.4 million) in revenue.
