Wudang issued a preferential and incentive policy

Wudang tourism zone issued a preferential and incentive policy at the end of 2011 for 2012. In the new policy, seven categories of people will receive free entrance and tour bus tickets. They are active disabled soldiers (valid documentation needed), children under 120 cm, tour guides with tourist certificates, the leader of pilgrim team (more than 30 pilgrims), journalists and the Taoism clergy. The old above 70 years old and disciples with the refuge certificates from Wudang Taoism Association will be free for entrance tickets.

In addition, another eight groups of people such as full-time students, active soldiers and disabled people can get the entrance tickets at half price, as well as female tourists on Mar 8 and teachers on Sep 10.

Wudang will encourage the medium and long range market more aggressively by increasing the reward for those who can bring tourist teams.

Wudang will also give rewards to the travel agencies who are active in promoting the Wudang Mountains.
