Famous Sina bloggers visit Wudang Mountains

A group of famous bloggers from Sina, a well-known domestic news website, began their visit on Dec 9 to the Wudang Mountains. This marked the kickoff of their tour themed, “Enjoying Chinese Culture”, hosted by Sina.

The Wudang Mountains are mostly famous for their Wudang martial arts, so the bloggers made their first stop at the Wudang Sanfeng Hall located at the foot of mountains.

The Hall was also hosting the Wudang Sanfeng Alliance and the bloggers had a chance to speak to Zhong Yunlong, president of the alliance. They showed respect and praised him for his contributions to the Wudang martial arts. When the group reached Yuxu Palace, they were surprised to find foreigners together with the Chinese disciples diligently practicing martial arts.

Their concentration and firm expression was inspiring and peaceful.

Although the bloggers have already seen many significant buildings in Beijing such as the Forbidden Palace and the Great Wall, they were stunned by the giant ancient ruins and restored pavilions at Qiongtai in Yuxu Palace.

The fascinated scene excited the bloggers as they imagined its original magnificence as well as the historical vicissitudes.

Incredible buildings came into sight one after another as the bloggers continued to walk, providing a precious opportunity to view the construction, history, nature and religion.

After the visit, the bloggers promised to record their unforgettable journey on their blogs, sharing with others what they had just witnessed in Wudang.
