Jet Li, “Wudang is breathtaking”

Jet Li, a famous Chinese actor, visited Wudang Mountains on Nov 26 and was stunned by the grand cultural relics there.

“It is simply amazing,” Li said. “It is so different from what I thought. One has to be really standing on the mountains to see its great beauty and the tremendous heritage left by our ancestors.”

Li watched a Kongfu performance in Purple Heaven Palace and spoke highly of the profundity of Taiji culture.

The palace’s head priest gave Li both the heirloom amulet and Tao Te Ching, a classic book of Taoism, as gifts.
