POWERCHINA sets new mark for overseas power generation
As of Dec 21, 2018, the annual power generation of POWERCHINA's overseas power stations exceeded 10 billion kilowatt-hours, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the company, as well as providing strong support for the economic and social development in these countries, improving local people's livelihoods.

The power generation companies that made outstanding contributions were: 7.23 billion kWh in the Port Qasim Coal-fired Power Plant in Pakistan, 1.38 billion kWh in Nam Ou River Cascade Hydropower Plant (first phase) in Laos, 540 million kWh in Kamchay Hydropower Station in Cambodia, 503 million kWh in Nam Ngum 5 Hydropower Station in Laos, and 356 million kWh in the Upper Marsyangdi A Hydropower Station in Nepal.

The annual power generation utilization hours of the generating units was 4,496, creating the best indicator of the annual power generation utilization hours of overseas Chinese power generation companies.
In recent years, each overseas power generation company of POWERCHINA's has continuously improved their management level, strengthened equipment maintenance to ensure equipment availability, and maximized power generation load.
