To date, POWERCHINA has 346 overseas agencies in 113 countries and regions, and has executed 2,470 project contracts, among which 173 of their overseas agencies in 44 of the 65 key countries along the Belt and Road has signed 1,524 project contracts.
Following the country's political and economic diplomacy philosophy, POWERCHINA has broken through in many fields in international operations, signing contracts for the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway, the China-Laos Railway, the Kayan River 1 hydropower station in Indonesia, as well as the largest installed water and solar project in Africa, the Shiroro 300MW power station in Nigeria, and more.
Its overseas business accounts for one-third of the company's total business, forming a diversified market structure with water conservancy and electric power construction as the core, involving highways, rail transit, housing construction, and water treatment.

It has formed a diversified pattern with Asia and Africa as its main focus, while creating inroads in-markets such as America, Oceania, and Eastern Europe, establishing a global marketing network.
It has also explored various modes of cooperation such as contracting, equity investment, direct investment, build-transfer (BT), and build-operate-transfer (BOT) partnerships, and has jointly developed third-party markets through industry and finance integration, capital operation, and mergers and acquisitions.
Currently, POWERCHINA has more than 30,000 overseas professionals, more than 3,000 technical patents, and more than 460 industry standards, becoming the core competitiveness of “going global” to participate in international industry competition.
